Kargyak Village
Kargyak is the first village in Ladakh when entering from Shinkula Pass, nestled in the picturesque Lungnak Valley. Known for its rich Ladakhi culture and unique architecture, Kargyak provides visitors with an authentic glimpse into the lifestyle of the Zanskaris. Additionally, this village serves as a gateway for treks to nearby monasteries and stunning natural attractions in the area.

Sking Village
Sking Village is a serene retreat and one of the cleanest villages in the Zanskar Valley. Located just 2 kilometers beyond the Kargiak Police check post, it sits on the opposite side of the Kurgiak River. During the summer months, the village comes to life with lush green vegetation and thriving farms. The landscape is adorned with a variety of beautiful flowers, making it a picturesque spot for visitors seeking tranquility and natural beauty.

Phugtal Monastery

Perched on a cliffside in the remote Lungnak Valley, Phugtal Monastery is one of the most isolated monasteries in Ladakh. Its unique architecture, resembling a honeycomb, is built around a natural cave where the founder, Jangsem Sherap Zangpo, meditated.
